The technology underlying GlycoMar's products is based on our understanding of the fundamentals of natural products based drug discovery, glycobiology, and the therapeutic target.
Through this unique combination of skills GlycoMar is able to select appropriate organisms and target compound classes. The compounds are isolated, purified, and chemically and functionally characterised by analytical chromatography, monosaccaride analysis and NMR. Our dereplicated library has also undergone biological activity screening in house.
GlycoMar's focussed application is rapidly generating lead compounds which address unmet market needs in drug discovery.
