GlycoMar Limited is a privately held marine biotechnology company dedicated to the discovery, development and commercialisation of novel biological products from marine organisms. The Company has also developed a fee-for-service screening and contract research business, based on its expertise in anti-inflammatory assays.

We concentrate on identifying compounds that have a short lead in time to market, combined with a high return ratio on R & D. As proof of this GlycoMar is already supplying a group of polysaccharide and glycoprotein products to two drug development companies, and over the next 12 months the company will complete the development of a nutraceutical and a cosmeceutical product. The Company’s screening and contract service has growing numbers of customers worldwide, with strong sales growth.
